Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Haxus stands at an average height for a Galra male. He's around 7'0". He's thin, but his body is toned, powerful muscle under sleek fur, and he has broad shoulders and long limbs.

2. How old is he?
25.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He carries himself with the sort of importance that fits a Galra soldier, and the sort of grace that fits a Commander's right-hand man. When he's by himself, or around someone he feels perfectly comfortable with, he might sink together a little out of relaxation, but in public he knows to carry himself well and make sure to look as though he's in control.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Fit. A little weaker than a regular Galra of his stature perhaps, something that's led him to feel as though he's defective. But he won't openly show this or discuss it with anyone, preferring to hide his weaknesses and show only his strength. He's still stronger than your average human, trained in combat, and a formidable foe. He's just a smidgen weaker than your average Galra soldier. He hides it well and has earned himself a reputation, so no one dares say anything straight to his face.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Graceful and control. No motion is wasted with Haxus, and he moves with purpose and conviction, appearing very confident, having full control over both the actions of his body and his expressions. All in all, he's graceful but controlled.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Reasonably attractive. He has cheekbones that a model would be envious of, a handsome and sharp face, attractive and expressive eyes and eyebrows, and his smirk could make anyone melt assuming he was flirting with them. If you're an enemy, then Haxus gives off the imagine of a snake waiting to lunge at its prey, and that smirk doesn't make it any better. He considers himself reasonably attractive, if a bit on the plain side.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Under his fur he has soft skin in a grayish-purple color. There's a few scars, but nothing disfiguring, and his skin is very clear and not prone to breakouts.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Haxus doesn't really have hair so much as dense and sleek fur covering his entire body. His face is a ligher grayish-purple, but the rest of his body is generally darker, except for his chest and belly which are lighter like his face, in sort of a gradient rather than being as sharply different as his face is from his neck and "hair". He has faint stripes of darker gray around his shoulder, down his upper arms, under his elbows, and along his back, down his thighs and beneath the knees. The fur on his head, neck, and rest of his body is very dense and sleek, like an otter's, but the fur of his face is shorter and finer, to the point of showing color through if he, for example, blushes. He also has a cranial ridge at the top of his head, in a darker colored fur than the rest of his body, about as dark as the stripes that line his body when undressed.

9. What color are his eyes?
Bright yellow, almost looking like they glow a little. No pupils or irises are visible, but he manages to look sharp anyway, and when he's looking at someone intently, they'd definitely feel it, even if they might not know where his eyes are looking exactly.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Visibly, when his in his armor, his cheekbones stand out the most, along with very sharp and jagged teeth that he adores baring when he feels as though someone will be threatened by a show of sharp predator teeth. When his armor is off, his noteworthy features are added to by his collarbone which looks just as sharp and defined as his cheekbones, and the lighter fur across his chest and stomach, as well as the darker stripes along his shoulders, back, arms, and legs. He also has cat-like feet complete with toe beans hidden in those boots.

11. What are his chief tension centers?
His neck and shoulders.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
During work hours he's in a standard-issue Galra uniform. Black bodysuit base, with a black chest piece guarding his upper body- it has the Galra Empire symbol glowing purple in the middle of it-, shoulder and arm armor- there's glowing purple "diamonds" at his shoulders, one on each side- that covers him down to his wrists and there's even slight guards over the back of his hands, and he wears gloves most of the time. He has sort of a half-belt looking piece of armor around his waist that's open in the front. Doesn't seem to serve any purpose other than decoration, possibly there to have something to connect communicators or keys to. Armored thigh-high boots.

It's a work uniform so he probably does have six of it, and double the amount of bodysuits to go under the armor. If given the option, he changes the body suit twice a day.

He's very comfortable in this outfit, as it is his work attire, and what he wears 99% of the time.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
His clothes do fit him well. It is a military uniform after all, and he can't be slowed down by extra bulk or material that bunches or sags, since he'd rather not trip over himself due to a wardrobe malfunction. He gets himself measured professionally often to stay in tip-top shape.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
He rarely has free time, so it's more like does he dress the same on shore leave as he does during work. The answer is no. He has very fancy and formal dress robes that fit him well, black along with purple embroidered designs, a black shirt and fitted vest with silver buttons down the front, along with fitted pants, fancy and well-polished shoes, and a greatcoat that reaches down past his knees and is usually hanging off his shoulders rather than being pulled on. This is the item of clothing with purple embroidery using a shiny type of thread, and it has silver buttons, both down the front, embossed with the symbol of the Galra Empire.

It's very formal and makes him stand out, but he prefers it that way, since it leaves a commanding image in people's minds, not one they'll easily forget.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Commando while in his uniform, black boxers while in his casual clothing.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Deep and manly, with a slightly raspy or throaty quality to it. Very pleasant to listen to, and he has a good control of his speaking volume and the lilt of his voice. If he has a point, you can be damn sure his point will be carried across with that lovely voice.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Evenly, at a perfect volume. He speaks very clearly, doesn't hesitate, and his voice and definitely his words, have a sarcastic or arrogant lilt to them most of the time.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Nope!

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Common (English) & Galran & Galran sign language.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
No.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He always knows what to say. Words come easily to him. Yet at the same time he's very controlled, never betraying any secrets.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Eloquent. He's not a brute or a moron, after all.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Both. He has extensive knowledge of anything electronic, can pilot a ship with ease, plot coordinates, hack, and he's an infiltration specialist. He needs to both have knowledge about his subjects, and have the practical smarts to apply them to real life, and he strikes a good balance between the two.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Thinks on his feet, but will deliberate if the situation calls for it. He's usually pretty good at coming up with ideas though, though his arrogance can easily be his downfall.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Practical and logical, but will follow his gut feeling if the situation calls for it. In a battle, he's more intuitive, adapting to each situation.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
Galra Standard Education, Combat Classes, and extra lessons on Hacking.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Hacking, infiltration, maths, and he's a decent tactician should Sendak be incapacitated somehow. He wants to learn more about building up his own strength and get better at reaction times so he can more easily counter an enemy, though he's already very good at watching their movement and somewhat predicting their moves. He is however very arrogant, so this can be his downfall, so he might want to need to take some lessons on that.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Extrovert. Haxus is fairly social and enjoys chatting with allies. But he won't say no to drawing back and reading a book either, but he definitely thrives more on social interactions than he does solitude.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Arrogant, not very prone to mood swings, though his confident personality that will turn more forceful if his buttons are pushed certainly make him seem like he has some anger issues. Honestly though, he's pretty even-tempered, a bit of an observer, despite thriving on social interaction. He sucks up information like a sponge, and can easily commit things to memories and will use anything useful at a later date. He's neither cheerful nor melancholy, but usually has a driven, and (Galra) positive outlook on things. He takes extreme pride in his work, and one thing that would cause a major mood swing if not a completely murderous berserker rampage is suggesting that Commander Sendak is not up to par.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Relaxed and mildly curious, depending on who they are. He has a mild interest in other civilizations, a high interest in technology from different worlds, and might go out of his way to ask about things that catch his interest, but he won't be enthusiastic about it, more matter-of-fact than anything else. He might be suspicious if new people are trying to ingratiate themselves with the Empire or with his Commander, or even with him too quickly, thinking they want favors for nothing in return.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
He's definitely one that acts more than he reacts. He's not passive at all and easily throws himself into the action of things, be they social, intellectual, or hostile situations.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight. Victory or death.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
He enjoys a good pun, a bit of gallows humor, and dry sarcastic wit will always pull a laugh from him assuming it's not something that trash talks him or that which he values. Bathroom humor will get a long judging stare, and pranks are only funny if he's the one pranking other people, he doesn't particularly like being on the receiving end of them.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
None! He struggles with a bit of self-confidence issues due to his slightly weaker body, but nothing crippling.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
Joining the military, becoming an infiltration specialist, being assigned to Sendak, and getting to work under the Commander.

14. What does he fear?
Failure.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
Continuing to spread Galra control through the universe, continuing to serve Zarkon, continuing to work under Commander Sendak for as long as the Commander will have him. Victory in every battle. Becoming stronger.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
That he's slightly weaker than an average Galra.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Pretty good! He's not in contact with them often, but does take time for the occasional chat with his mother, and he knows his father is a soldier, and they've exchanged some letters. His relationship with his parents is probably better than most Galra.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Several. Both younger and older, along with several half-siblings. They don't talk any more but fought each other a lot when they were children.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Nope!

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Commander Sendak is someone he values as a family member, a family member he would fight to his last breath to protect. Calling Sendak something like a brother feels straight out insulting to Haxus, and though he considers the Commander part of his family, he is really more like an idol to Haxus, something to strive for, an unobtainable goal. He hopes to one day be Sendak's equal, but knows this day is far, far off.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
He won't say this to his face, it's disrespectful, but... Sendak. They met in the military when Haxus was chosen to be his second in command.

6. Does he have other close friends?
Not really.

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
He tends to grate a little on other people's nerves before they get used to him, but initial dislike aside, he's actually fairly easy to get along with.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Sendak.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
He is single.

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
No.

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Sendak & Sendak. Though it's not so much a crush as a deep burning obsession with being of service to him, romantically, sexually, or just generally.

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
A stable presence, confidence and cockiness to match his own, someone who will talk issues out with him instead of bottling them up. For an infiltration specialist who plays his cards close to his chest in his work life, he's fairly open in a relationship and wants to know when he's doing something wrong and when he's doing something right. He thrives on praise, and will accept criticism and try to correct his behavior, so long as his partner is open to the same. If they can make him laugh and relax in their presence, then that's even better. Physically he's looking for someone who's fit, who has nice eyes, and a comfortable and steady voice. He likes hearing his partner laugh, so if they're the type to laugh and smile easily, then that's even better. He also looks for loyalty. Unlike many Galra who pass like ships in the night, Haxus actually wants a steadfast relationship with a single person, rather than hopping from partner to partner. If someone he takes emotional interest in is only interested in a fling, then he'll direct his attention elsewhere pretty quickly.

This is not to say he can't sleep around. You don't have to love someone to fuck them. Though he likes having friendships with his fuck buddies too if possible. He will cut off any physical and affectionate contact beyond hugging after entering a more permanent romantic relationship though, but is generally open to remaining friend with his former friends with benefits.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
He has two children, separate mothers. The youngest is about three, the oldest is five. He keeps pictures of them in his quarters, and occasionally checks in on them to make sure their mothers are taking good care of them. The youngest one is a boy named Korvii, and the oldest is a girl called Iarin. Haxus is not always good at knowing how to talk to them, but he makes an attempt to be at least a somewhat attentive father, even if it's just over video chat, and even if he only really sends them gifts around their birthday.

Iarin is also deaf, though her mother elected to keep her. Both her mother and Haxus have taken Galran sign language classes to communicate with her.

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Any enemy of the Empire is his enemy. No personal rivals.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
About a three. He'll just as easily be attracted to men as he is to women.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
He has a moderate interest in sex. He'll do it if he has a partner that's willing, and like most Galra can go several rounds without becoming worn out. As a stress reliever he will masturbate, usually in the shower so he can wash off the scent of sex and arousal immediately.

I personally headcanon Galra as having times of year where they go into heat and become almost constantly horny. Haxus sometimes gives into his, but usually masturbates or uses drugs that suppress the need to have sex. He goes into heat about five to six times a year, and his particular rhythm makes it so that it lasts somewhere around two weeks each time it happens. He certainly knows Galra with more persistent heat cycles, though knows that not all Galra have them, which is equally as normal. Every Galra is different.

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Turn-ons would be getting to smell his partner. He loves the smell of his lover's arousal, their sweat, their breath, anything. He will insistently press his face against fur or skin. He also likes it when people explore every part of his body with some force, and enjoys being complimented during sex, on having a pretty sexy body. He too will compliment his partner, and he's very vocal and encouraging, and will tell them when they're doing things right, and if they seem uncertain, he'll gently coax them along, or ask if they want to stop entirely.

Excited vocalizations are also great, words, moans, whimpers, purrs, hitching breath... All good, all a turn-on, extremely so. He loves hearing his partner enjoy themselves, and he will do the same, though tends to be a little more subdued.

Turn-offs are overly pushy people, people who only take their own pleasure into account and don't give a shit about his. He doesn't mind rough sex, and doesn't mind trying new kinks, but if made to feel uncomfortable, or if his partner exhibits too much discomfort, he will find it off-putting and immediately stop. He's not a rapist, despite being of a species that conquers, and consent is important to him. If things become too heavy, for either him or his partner, he will insist on safe words. Extreme turn-off is being degraded in bed, called weak, or called a filthy monster due to being Galra. If you insult his species, or his strength, that's an immediate deal breaker.

Weird bedroom habits... That he likes smelling his partner can be a little weird, I suppose. He also likes listening for heartbeats and will point out when his partner's heart flutters or beats faster, since he can hear it quite well.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
In the western zodiac he is an Aquarius. Intelligent, social, and independent. On the negative side, he can definitely come off as aloof if he finds you boring. In the Chinese zodiac, the dog fits him best, as he is loyal to his cause and his Commander, a good keeper of secrets, and sometimes has a bit of a sharp tongue.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Neither. Spirituality and religion aren't important to him at all.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Ha... No, not really.

His only moral or ethic is that he refuses to outright rape someone. He also frowns upon those who do so, and if he's in a position to punish? He will.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Indifferent. So long as they don't interfere with the Empire and its plans, then every person, every species, is free to believe in whatever they want.

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
He definitely thinks that anyone who isn't Galra is weak. He's been raised to see the Galra as the ultimate predator, and while that isn't much of a good reason, it is something that has, and will always stick with him, due to his upbringing.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
He's Sendak's second in command, a soldier of the Galra Empire, and a fairly decently ranked one as well. His position makes his financial situation comfortable. He's neither rich nor poor, though definitely on the higher end of the middle class.

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
Sendak's second in command, an infiltration specialist, single, father of two children, and firmly planted in the higher middle class. When he was a child his family wasn't as comfortable financially, so he appreciates the freedom that comes with having more spending money.

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
He lives in his own private quarters aboard Sendak's warship. His room is right next to one of the ship's server rooms, and it's connected by vents, so it always runs on the colder side, which Haxus appreciates, and with his hearing, he can pick up on the sound of cooling fans too, which helps him fall asleep more easily. The quarters is a fair space, and he's filled it with random junk, everything from novels to notebooks, from glass decorations to plants. His shelves flow over with random papers and files, and he has several downed drones that he's working on fixing littered all over. His bed is always a mess, never made.

The room also has a walk-in closet, filled with his armor and bodysuits, and the one casual outfit that he keeps in a covering so it won't be ruined. There are shelves in the walk-in and they're littered with more of his junk tech that he's planning on fixing.

He also has a bathroom that includes both a shower and a bathtub. The shelf in the shower, and the one above the tub, all have various products to wash up with, but also skin and fur care products as he prefers his coat healthy and silky slick to the touch. The bathroom is immaculately clean. The shelf under the mirror by the sink has a lot of oral hygiene products.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Presents for his kids during their birthdays, expensive clothing and ear jewelry that he wears when on shore leave.

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He's a military man who definitely enjoys his job. He is very skilled at what he does and is always seeking to better himself and be more efficient. He is perfectly happy where he is.

6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Surprisingly, he likes reading trashy romance novels, especially ones with good consensual sex scenes. He also likes working on scrap tech to get it functional again. Long baths might as well be a hobby for him too, because if he can spend upwards of an hour in the tub every day, he most certainly would.

7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Larger servings of cooked meat, not too seasoned, vegetables, fruit, and he has a bit of a sweet-tooth. If he can yoink someone else's dessert he will. He also likes starchy fried food, but limits his intake due to his close monitoring of his body's weight and muscle mass. He eats a good amount, very fitting for his metabolism rate and activity levels. He occasionally indulges in alcohol and prefers stronger, more bitter drinks. He enjoys the way alcohol burns on the way down, really, and give off a nice heat in his stomach.

He's not picky about what he eats at all, but if introduced to it, he would be lactose intolerant so he can't drink or eat milk products, and he's deathly allergic to chocolate.
